A scholarship for senior soccer players is offered by the Tri-State Futbol Alliance. Three $1000 scholarships are available. If interested, pick up the information in the guidance office by the outer door. Applications are on the cart.

There will be a brief but mandatory meeting Wednesday after for all July Kairos Leaders.

Congratulations to C. Finnigan who won the GCL Central 300 meter hurdle championship on Friday. He also placed second in the 110 meter high hurdles.
Last week J. Gavin placed 2nd in discus and third in the shot. The 3200 relay team of K. Keating, J. Kulifay, S. Wade and N. Rich placed second. Congratulations to all!
Don't forget about this Sunday's Kickball tournament. The first game is at 11 a.m. and the brackets will be posted by lunch Wednesday.

The One Way Farm is a residential care facility providing a home for 20 at-risk youths to keep them out of harm's way. Thank you for your suport of this effort.

This Saturday there will be a prom fashion show to help raise money for shoulder-to-shoulder, an organization that helps poor kids in Honduras with things they can't affort such as food, drink, medical care and education. The show will be at 4:00 .m. and anyone can attend. Tickets will be $5 and will be sold at lunch starting Wed. Also, prom dresses are going to be sold so younger classmen should come and get their prom dresses for next year! Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Sign up in religion class today. The West Oaks Community (located across the street from Badin) invites students to earn service hours this Saturday, May 8. Students are needed to help with various landscaping projects through mid-afternoon. We will meet at the West Oaks guest house at 10 a.m. Students should wear work clothes, including work shoes and work gloves. Interested?
